What I did to make my poem more vivid is that everything I write I see all of it inside my head as if were a movie. I imagine the setting, the costumes, the scene and they I describe on paper without getting to graphic, some people appreciate that and other just get bored and even annoyed for the constant descriptions and reminders. I imagine what the characters would do in the scene, how would they feel in that situation, how would they react. The scenery is sometimes hard to describe because you are not sure what descriptions to keep and which ones you should just cut them, but as long as it is descriptive, simple and doesn't take more than a page to describe it I think your fine.
What is challenging for me with this is that am uncomfortable sharing my personal life with someone I don't truly know, and I know to know someone you need to ask questions but the questions that we needed to ask felt too personal to me so I couldn't answer them, I barely share my life with own friends, even more less sharing it with a classmate, so, it's going to be hard for me if we have to keep doing this kind of interviews, sorry, it's just that I don't like sharing my life, specially now.
