For my project I was thinking of making some kind of treasure chest for my kid, which then I would fill with toys and candy.
Then we had a one-on-one to share ideas with someone who had a kid withing the same age range to come up with new ideas to create something else or for our won project. With my partner we came up with the idea of creating two go-carts and my treasure chest be the trophy for whoever won.
After working on the prototype(which was a car and box made out of cardboard, we received some critique from our classmates. We received some nice comment like how it was creative and how we combined our projects, and most suggestions were questions on how we were going to make this product and how suggested to use strong materials.
I have worked with certain materials already, especially wood so I expected this to be easy, but the tie range was the thing that made this difficult. The kind of thing I wanted to do was to big and detailed and I have such big ideas and not enough time so I had to improvise. What I did was I got a box pre-made and I decided to decorate it in a different way but I by the time I made my decision I did not have enough time so I just painted one color instead of doing it Star Wars themed as I wished to do. In the end it turned out pretty well, am proud that I was able to come up with a project made of stuff that I found to work with and instead of just not doing anything I worked with what I have and came up with a final product for my kid, which was a treasure box full of toys and candy liked I planned in the beginning so am pretty proud of myself for what accomplished.
